The current economic turmoil and European sovereign debt crisis has created significant research opportunities throughout the sector.
Responsibilities: The Co-Practice Leader of their EMEA practice is one of our most senior business professionals, and has four central responsibilities: commercial leadership. They will use the quality of their teams service delivery to develop trust-based relationships in the marketplace, which drive sustainable revenue and EBIT growth for the firm. They do this in collaboration with their colleagues on Research team and Sales force. extremely comfortable with phone based outreach to their clients, prospective clients, and their members. responsible for live meetings. They will spend significant time hand-crafting small-group meetings at which essential conversations take place among the most influential thinkers and decision-makers in the sector. responsible for intellectual leadership. They will maintain a sophisticated understanding of the business models, issues, and trends the sector. They also maintain relationships with many of the most influential investors, business thinkers, consultants, and observers in the industry. In charge of personal leadership. For their small team of direct reports, they conduct clear-eyed evaluations and concretely communicate performance expectations. They push the entire organization to steadily improve, by attracting new talent. They support sales and fulfillment teams in driving revenue, service quality, and inventory growth.
Candidate profile: 5-10 years of consultancy experience in one of the fields in the Practice Area plus significant ongoing curiosity about trends and personalities in the sector. Demonstrated performance and business judgment, in some or all of the following areas: o Growing a revenue line or P&L; o Leadership and results without line authority; o Sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals; and/or o Business development, corporate development, product development, or product management. Understanding of the asset management / investment industry and process.
Salary: 60-90k + bonus
