A rapidly growing multinational $300 million turnover company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Business Developer for their Healthcare practice to drive new business with pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare companies in Western Europe.
This is a unique company offering investment firms, strategic consultancies and life science corporations access to industry experts to enable them to better understand developments and new technologies in all sectors in healthcare.
This is a very visible position for an extremely high calibre individual with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, who is excited by the prospect of playing a central role in building and developing a business and ultimately their presence in Europe.
Based in London, this position will report to the Vice President of Life Sciences Business Development, based in New York.
Key requirements:
- Successful track record in senior sales or sales management positions at high-end research, consulting, security and software providers to pharmaceutical and device companies.
- Significant experience and confidence in generating new business.
- Experience developing trusted relationships with senior executives
- Comfortable making cold/warm calls.
- Familiarity and interest in the life sciences industry.
- Strong track record for closing sales
- Able to travel 50-60% within Europe.
Salary:
90-110k base + performance related bonus. Expected earning for the 1st year is 180-200k
