The role involves:
Leading projects in the heart of a retailers operations, working across the entire value chain of plan, buy, make, move and sell.
Leading projects at all stages through their lifecycle from early sales opportunities through to programme delivery
Working with teams from all Head Office functions with specific knowledge of Buying, Merchandising and Supply Chain, including a good understanding of retail specific technology.
Leveraging your own network and building new relationships across the retail marketplace
Using your skills and experience to develop new retail insights and offerings to take to market
Working with our client's leadership team to build capability, clients and community across the Retail Consulting practice
Managing junior members of team
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in multi-channel retailing, buying, and merchandising skills and the application of Lean in retail. Experience working as a management consultant in a name brand consulting firm.
An exceptionally strong background in retail, built through working in leading consulting and retail organisations
Proven track record and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
Proven track record of strong project delivery
For senior manager grade, strong business development skills are essential
Full travel mobility as client assignments may be nationwide or international
