Baringa supports growth with 4 new appointments

Baringa Partners, the specialist management consultancy, has announced that it has made four internal promotions in an effort to further drive growth.

The firm, known for specialising in energy financial services and utility markets across the UK, works with organisations in order to either enhance their existing capabilities relating to people and processes, or help them implement new strategies.

Its financial services practice has three new appointments; Alex Gurr, David Harris, Paul Wildman, while Stuart Cook joins its markets and trading division.

According to a press release, the company said that the new appointments were a response to its high level of performance in driving business by way of helping to deliver critical projects.

Baringa said that outstanding contributions were particularly effective in cultural development and client delivery.

Despite a difficult economic climate, the firm claims that growth has already been favourable across its key sectors.

The company was named as the Best Workplace in the UK in 2012 by the Great Place To Work Institute for a third consecutive year.

It was also named as Croner Employer of the Year at last year's National Business Awards.

The firm currently employs nearly 300 people, creating a turnover of £60 million per annum.

Managing partner Mohamed Mansour said: "These appointments highlight the successes that these four individuals have delivered for clients, and the ideas they have implemented within Baringa.

"This also demonstrates the importance we place on the development of talent from within and the ability to integrate people at all levels to improve and expand our capabilities."

He added that the company had ended the year on a high, with a performance he described as "exceptional", and that growth had not come at a cost of Baringa's original values and ethos.

Mr Mansour also claimed that the latest series of appointments were an indication of the firm's hard work, expertise and dedication to serving its clients.
