BearingPoint, a management and technology consultancy firm, has accelerated its growth in the UK and Ireland by acquiring Trinity Horne.

The company is a consultancy firm that specialises in operational performance improvement. Its practice is well recognised across all industries for its company transformations, predictive analytics and management development capabilities.

The company was established in 1992 and started out in the UK and Ireland before branching out to a more global market.

Among its clients are leading British and Irish utility companies, global financial services organisations, media firms and communications businesses. The company claims that its “hands-on approach” means clients are able to achieve lasting and sustainable change. 

By acquiring Trinity Horne, BearingPoint has expanded its offerings in the in the area of operational performance consultancy. It has also accelerated growth on key consulting markets at the same time.

James Rodger, regional leader in UK and Ireland at BearingPoint, said: “This acquisition is part of our growth agenda in the UK and Ireland. Having partnered with Trinity Horne in the past to deliver projects, we knew that there was a good fit in terms of culture and see this acquisition as a great way to increase our operational performance capabilities.” 

Peter Mockler, managing partner BearingPoint, believes that Trinity Horne has a strong reputation for helping its clients to drive improvement within operational performance. 

He feels that its proven practice and methodology will complement BearingPoint’s own assets, which will allow the company to develop new propositions for its existing client portfolio.

Trinity Horne also seems positive regarding the acquisition. Brendan Cahill, chief executive officer of Trinity Horne, said the merger “gives us the potential to take our operational improvement capabilities to a significantly larger global audience”.  

BearingPoint is a multinational management and technology consulting firm. Before purchasing Trinity Horne it had operations in 17 countries across the globe and around 3,500 employees. It is considered to be one of the largest management consultancies in Europe.
