Capco further strengthens global banking practice

The global business and technology consultancy, Capco, has announced that it has appointed Jonathan Gray as a London based partner.

Mr Gray brings more than 20 years worth of experience in retail banking and wealth management to the role at the firm, which mainly specialises in the financial services industry.

His main area of expertise is in bank-wide transformations to deliver against growing consumer expectations. Mr Gray claimed that Capco’s Global Banking Practice is currently at the forefront of developing some of the most forward-thinking innovations for banking clients, adding that he was delighted to be joining the company both on a personal and professional level.

Mr Gray will be working alongside Nic Parmaksizian, who is somewhat highly rated as a change specialist that has been consistently involved in a number of high-profile turnaround programmes, while boasting a great track record for delivering significant bottom-line impact and accelerating commercial performance in retail banking. He is also an award-winning entrepreneur, having delivered a number of successful and innovative distribution, marketing and CRM transformation programmes in the retail banking industry, many of which focus on the customer experience and channel performance.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Gray said: “Capco has long been recognised as a source of industry leading expertise within the banking community. I am very pleased to be joining the team at a time when there are so many exciting developments in play.

“Capco’s track record clearly confirms that, with the right blend of channel solutions, banks can combine increased levels of service and innovation with the efficiencies that profitable operation demands."

He added that front-to-back office process can be configured to support existing and new channels with great effectiveness, while also condoning mobile initiatives for customers and employees as a way of transforming service capabilities and consumer engagement.

Christopher Geldard, head of Capco’s Global Banking team, added that Mr Gray was "an exceptional addition" to what he described as already being a successful team.
