Capco wins 3 In-House Recruitment awards

Global business and technology consultancy firm, Capco, has won three accolades at the 2013 In-house Recruitment Awards.

Capco was originally founded in 1998 and is a consultancy firm that is solely dedicated to the financial services industry. 

It aims to deliver innovative solutions in banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth and investment management, and finance, risk and compliance.

The company designs, builds and operates technology for specific operations and entire organisations.

The accolades Capco received at the ceremony included Best Recruitment Video, Best On-boarding Strategy and Best Employee Referral Strategy. These awards reflect the company’s commitment to its growing workforce and innovative recruitment processes.

Andrew Tarver, Capco partner and UK chief executive officer, said: “We have witnessed significant growth over the last three years, increasing the UK workforce from 150 employees to over 400. These awards are an excellent achievement for us as we continue to expand. 

“They reaffirm our belief in a culture of empowerment and focus on communities within our organisation, as we actively encourage employees to be directly involved in the recruitment process and forming the future of the organisation.”

Capco’s award winning recruitment video showcases the firm’s distinct and creative culture. From its very beginnings to its distribution, the recruitment video was created entirely by Capco employees.

Its video has been uploaded to YouTube and has already been viewed over 6,800 times. More importantly, it has received consistently positive feedback from interview candidates.

The consultancy firm was also hailed for its on-boarding strategy and its successful integration of new employees within the firm. 

Capco’s on-boarding strategy goes beyond a one-day induction, enabling new employees to become active consultants and part of the company’s community as soon as they join the firm - adding immediate value to the business.

The Best Employee Referral Strategy award was given to Capco because of its excellent strategy, which saw 29 per cent of new hires between July 2012 and July 2013 being introduced by current staff members.

The In-House Recruitment Awards were created to recognise the increasing achievements of internal recruitment teams in the UK and the individuals that form them.

This is yet another trophy for Capco’s cabinet as they have also been ranked 27th in The Times’ Top 100 companies to work for again in 2013.
