KPMG has announced that it has appointed a new global chair to work in its media and telecommunications operations.
Graeme Ross steps into the role after being a partner at KPMG for the past 17 years, dealing with the UK business' in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMA) region.
He will be responsible for the firm's dealings within the world of media and telecommunications and has previously led KPMG's operations within this sector in the EMA region for both its European and UK businesses.
Mr Ross will now be tasked with taking this current offering and delivering on a worldwide scale.
"With the continuing explosion of mobile devices and applications, as well as innovation, convergence and dramatic changes to business models in the sector, it is imperative that we remain relevant to clients' agenda by continuing to bring new solutions and propositions which address the specific issues and business challenges they face," he added.
