PwC announces appointment of global chairman

PwC has announced that Dennis M Nally has been re-appointed for a second term as global chairman of the company.

Officials noted that the decision has been ratified by PwC's network of member firms across the world and Mr Nally will commence his second tenure in this role on July 1st 2013.

Prior to this appointment as global chairman Mr Nally had been working as the chairman and senior partner of PwC's US branch between 2002 and 2009 and has previously worked in a number of positions in leadership and client services.

"I believe that the organisation that is able to adapt and stay relevant to its clients, remains a magnet for top talent, and puts quality at the heart of everything it does, is one that is going to continue to succeed," Mr Nally explained.

Brad Oltmanns, the governance board chairman of PwC, also spoke of his delight at being able to welcome Mr Nally to the role for a second term and believes it will help PwC continue its success.
