Roland Berger appoints eight new partners

Munich-based Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has kicked off the year by appointing eight new partners to the firm.

The new hires will support the company - the only leading global consultancy of German heritage and European origin - as it expands on an international scale, with some based in Paris, Zurich and Dubai.

Stephane Blanchard joins Roland Berger as a partner in the consumer goods and retail competence centre in Paris. He specialises in growth strategies, international development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and performance optimisation. With over 17 years of experience, he will likely prove to be a great asset to the firm.

Sebastian Feldmann will be coming on board as a partner in the company's operations strategy competence centre in Munich. He has a wealth of experience in strategic and operational consulting for companies in the automotive and engineering sectors, particularly in the context of growth and business model transformation mandates.

Rejoining Roland Berger is Christian Gieselmann, in the new position of partner in the consumer goods and retail competence centre in Munich. His role will be to support clients with growth and sales strategies, efficiency programs, restructuring and M&A.

Thomas Kastner is coming on board as a partner in the civil economics, energy and infrastructure competence centre in Munich. He specialises in advising businesses and the public sector on the strategic requirements of coping with the challenges of the energy transition.

Joe Lichtenberger has been appointed as a partner and global chief financial officer for Roland Berger, with his responsibilities including finance, controlling and all legal and accountancy issues at the company. He previously worked in the same position for one of Europe's leading online corporations.

Justus Lorentz will take on a role as partner at the consumer goods and retail competence centre in Munich, after previously working as a senior advisor for the firm since 2005. Peter Schneidewind rejoins Roland Berger after almost ten years in the industry and has been appointed as partner in the engineered products and high-tech competence centre in Zurich.

Finally, Eduardo van-Zeller Neto joins the firm as a partner and head of the energy and utilities and oil and chemicals competence centres in the Middle East region, after previously working for an international consultancy advising global clients in the oil and gas, petrochemicals and utilities industries.
