My client supports businesses as they implement change across multiple sectors. Due to rapid expansion, they have a brand-new office in Birmingham and they are looking for a Consultant to join them. You will be focused on building market-specific networks to develop and service new business opportunities. If you are seeking a business development role where you can work autonomously while enjoying a wealth of support, this could be the opportunity for you.

The role

A critical role within the business, part of which will include:

  • Research, identify and attract new Associates using all appropriate methods, including the use of Job Boards, CRM system and Social Media

  • Qualify, shortlist and present suitable Associates for clients

  • Identify new business opportunities through telephone networking with Associates within the core markets in which they operate

What we’re looking for

  • An interest in people and in understanding their challenges is essential – you won’t just be someone who makes small talk, but someone who listens, challenges, asks questions and builds lasting relationships

  • A dedicated, confident and persuasive communicator with a customer-focused approach

  • Experience within a service sales environment is desirable, as is a good working knowledge of CRM systems
