Our client is the official promotional company for London, attracting businesses, events, congresses, students and visitors to London. They have an exciting vacancy for a Head of Business Excellence at the beginning of its EFQM journey and will be assessed for Committed to Excellence in October 2017. The role will provide crucial support to the business in implementing improvement programmes across the business as a result of an internal self-assessment (completed September 2017) and the outcome of the external Committed to Excellence assessment.  

The successful candidate will have experience implementing operational excellence projects and ideally knowledge of the EFQM excellence models as well as Lean Sigma, Balanced Scorecards and internal audits and assessments.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Implementing the EFQM Excellence Model

  • Delivering a programme of activities which will deliver demonstrable improvements to organisational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Identifying opportunities and driving the implementation for improvement by working closely with the business

  • Measuring progress against established objectives and assisting the business in developing challenging yet achievable KPIs

  • Manage a team of auditors to ensure periodic audit schedule is completed and delivers useful results to the business

    Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring Business Performance

  • Reporting

  • Complaints handling
