Research Manager in the Energy & Industrials Practice is
responsible for managing and executing primary research deliverables for
clients. They are responsible for helping to grow the practice,
executing on client research requests, and establishing and cultivating
relationships with experts across Europe.
Candidate profile:
- 2 to 5 years relevant industry experience as an analyst, associate
or similar role in consulting, investment banking, or equity research
- Understanding and awareness of financial markets in EMEA with interest in the Energy & Industrials sectors
- Successful track record working in complex multi-task oriented team environments
- Outstanding communication skills and willingness to conduct
telephone outreach to senior experts Energy & Industrial sectors
- A degree from a top-tier university
Responsibilities:
Research Managers in client-facing offices responsible for:
- Facilitating educational interactions between members of the
firm’s expert network and our clients, to permit our clients to make
more informed and more confident investment decisions.
- Programming live meetings. Client-facing Research Managers are
responsible for organizing and hosting small group conversations
- Enhancing the company’s Councils. Developing relationships with
the company’s most respected thought leaders in the Energy &
Industrials sectors, as well as recruiting new senior executives and
leading consultants into the company’s Councils through research,
networking, and direct outreach
- Growing client relationships. Developing relationships with
clients, who are primarily lead investment professionals across Europe.
This relationship development will stem from in-person client meets,
project execution, and telephone interactions.
- Team-wide collaboration. Research Managers are expected to help
mentor and manage junior colleagues, especially those colleagues in our
operations offices with whom they are collaborating. They also work
closely with our Sales and Business Development team and other
sector-specialized Research Managers to develop customized products for
the company’s clients.
