Mindbench Team

The Mindbench team is composed of high calibre ex-management consultants and top search professionals.

Collectively we have several decades of experience of recruiting to the management consultancy sector in the UK and internationally. We have experience of hiring at all levels including Director and Partner, and of undertaking sensitive search assignments as well as contingent and interim/contract recruitment. We network actively within the industry and we have very extensive contacts in the firms. Although centrally located in central London,  we also have a growing Mindbench team presence in the UK and Europe. Within our team we speak many European languages fluently including German, French, Spanish, Swedish, Polish, Russian, Italian and Lithuanian. 

Richard Stewart

Richard is the founder and Managing Director of Mindbench, and before this worked as a Management Consultant for major firms. As well as running Mindbench he specialises in retained search assignments and Director/Partner level placements. He has extensive experience of recruiting in the strategy consulting and operational improvement areas, across sectors. He speaks regularly at industry events and is quoted in regularly in the consulting press and broadsheets about the sector. When Richard is not working he is often travelling the world to explore, or on diving trips, running, or practising yoga and Pilates.

Zakaria Ahmed

Zakaria joined Mindbench in 2010. He recruits primarily within Strategy consulting across most sectors including the Life Sciences & Healthcare industries. He graduated in Biochemistry & Immunology from King’s College London and worked for a UK based boutique Management Consulting firm before joining Mindbench. He has over 6 years of international recruitment experience and has a background in executive search, placing senior leaders into the Pharma industry. He recently returned from a six month sabbatical which he spent on a ‘backpacking’ travel expedition around Asia. When Zakaria is not working or traveling, he tries to keep up with his boxing and muay thai. 

Valerija Romanovic

Valerija joined Mindbench in October 2010 having come from a recruitment and international communications background. She mainly specialises in financial services & TMT working with research, innovation, strategy, change management and IT focused roles both within industry and consulting. She is fluent in Russian and Lithuanian and is taking on regional assignments as well. For further personal and professional development Val has undertaken a CIPD courseOutside of work Val is a passionate amateur photographer and a keen snowboarder. 

 

Claudia Burgos

Claudia has joined Mindbench in August 2014 as a Bookkeeper. She has recently gained a MICB status (Member – Certified Bookkeeper) with the Institute ofCertified Bookkeepers through qualifications. Claudia will be looking after the accounts department at Mindbench where has extensive experience. She is a native Spanish speaker. Outside work Claudia enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.

Ellen Lacey

Ellen joined Mindbench in August 2016 as an Executive Researcher. She is responsible for researching and screening potential candidates for a variety of roles in many sectors globally. She studied Psychology and Sociology at The University of Queensland, graduating in 2014. Having moved from Brisbane, Australia, to London in 2015, Ellen endeavours to travel as much as possible in her free time. She is a passionate foodie, an aspiring wine connoisseur, and also enjoys photography and the arts.

Katrine Lange

Katrine joined Mindbench in July 2016 as an Executive Researcher. She is responsible for researching and screening potential candidates for a variety of roles across a wide range of sectors and countries. Katrine is currently enrolled at Copenhagen Business School, where she is finishing up her Master’s degree in Marketing and Business Communication, and she previously obtained a Bachelor in Law from Aarhus University in Denmark. In her free time Katrine enjoys spending time traveling, socializing, doing a lot of work out, reading and going to concerts and other similar activities.

Robert Fisher

Robert joined Mindbench in July 2015 as an Executive Researcher, and soon became a Managing Consultant. Prior to that Robert studied Politics and International Relations at Loughborough University, where he was a member of a university football team. He maintains a keen interest in current affairs. Robert specialises in financial services, but is the go-to-guy for all roles strategy and project management across sector. Aside from work, Robert is an avid sports fan, with a particularly interest in Boxing and Football. He is outgoing and keen to make the most of London life and is busily filling up his diary and social calendar.

Rebecca Wilde       

 Rebecca joined Mindbench in October 2015 as an Executive Researcher. Currently a Managing Consultant, Rebecca works on a variety of roles across a wide range of sectors and countries. Prior to joining Mindbench, Rebecca studied Economics at Newcastle University and then spent a year exploring Australia and Indonesia. Rebecca has got the travelling bug and makes the most of her weekends by visiting new places, socialising and experimenting with ambitious recipes on naïve friends.
