ea Consulting Group expands into Edinburgh

ea Consulting Group (eacg) has increased its activity in Scotland with the opening of an office in Edinburgh.

The organisation is set to relocate to its new offices in the centre of the Scottish capital’s financial and business district in a bid to meet rocketing client demand there.

This landmark move coincides with eacg’s 15th anniversary. In addition, it comes after three team appointments were made by the Scottish section of the business in the last 12 months.

This move follows the opening of a new office in Halifax in July, meaning that the company now boasts eight offices around the globe.

eacg’s Scottish team already caters to more than 60 associates in Edinburgh, who operate in a range of retail banks and asset managers.

However, the team will now expand at an even faster rate as it offers its services to more clients all across Scotland.

Neil Candeland, the company’s managing director in Europe, commented: “With the exception of London, eacg has invested more heavily in Scotland than in any other region. This move not only reflects our ongoing commitment to clients north of the border but also signals our intent to ramp up activity across Scotland.”

He added that this larger presence in Edinburgh, along with state-of-the-art facilities, will help to drive regional expansion.

This will enable eacg to be “even more fleet-of-foot when addressing the challenges faced by our growing pool of clients,” according to Mr Candeland.

This follows another announcement from eacg in which the company revealed that it is to launch a new division that will focus on talent partnering. It will also offer a range of permanent resourcing solutions to its financial services client base.

The new department is aiming to help clients to attract, retain and develop the best talent across a wide variety of critical business remits including risk, compliance and governance.
