Right Management has unveiled Ian Symes as the person to take up the role of general manager within the company's operations.

The talent and career management consultancy firm said that Mr Symes will look after its dealings within the UK and Ireland and assess how the business can improve its services to clients, Consultant News reports.

Mr Symes has a wealth of experience within the sector after spending the past twenty years in executive roles at national, European and global level after holding similar positions at companies such as Cisco.

Ruediger Schaefer, Right Management's group executive vice president, said: "We are delighted to welcome Ian to our team. He joins us at a time where the UK and Irish economies alike are continuing to work hard to recover from the impact of a global recession."

Right Management has a strong presence across the globe with the company employing 3,500 members of staff across 50 different countries.
