Suiko shortlisted for prestigious MCA award

Operational excellence specialist Suiko has been recognised for the enormous amount of work it has done with leading biofuels firm Vivergo Fuels in this year's shortlist for the distinguished 2015 Management Consultancies Association (MCA) Awards.

The event has been running for the the last 18 years and is considered to be the benchmark for quality within the consulting industry. MCA claims the awards recognise and demonstrate the value of consulting, while also celebrating how clients and consultants work together to achieve the best results.

This year's event - which usually dominates the UK consulting calendar - has attracted a boatload of top entries from across the industry, with around 30 firms shortlisted across all 23 categories.

Winners will be decided by an independent panel of expert judges, after they conduct face-to-face interviews with each of the shortlisted nominees.

Suiko will battle it out against three other companies for the highly-coveted prize of ‘Improved Performance in the Private Sector’ at the awards ceremony, which will take place on April 23rd at the Park Plaza in Westminster.

Commenting on the firm's nomination, Andy Marsh, managing director at Suiko, said: "We are delighted to be recognised for our work with Vivergo Fuels. It is no mean feat to be shortlisted in such a competitive category and to be fighting it out amongst the UK’s best consultants including the big four accountancy firms.

"These awards are hugely important for the entire industry and personally they continue to inspire Suiko to produce the very best work for our clients, through our robust commitment and single-minded pursuit of operational excellence."

The firm was founded in 1997 by Mr Marsh, who spent time as a captain in the British Royal Engineer and working for Unilever. The initial focus of the company was continuous improvement in the production environment with an emphasis on people.

Suiko has now grown into a consulting firm that operates on an international platform and is respected in the industry for its expertise in operational excellence. The firm works to improve efficiency, sustain improvements and grow profits within its clients' businesses.
