We are working with the procurement arm of an international bank. Their consultancy services aim to perform a comprehensive optimisation of the procurement function - they combine vast practical experience in spend management with methodologies to redesign processes and organisational structures. They are in the process of growing their team so are recruiting for someone to join them as a Buyer/ Analyst.

The role

You will be:

  • Carry out market and spend analysis
  • Be responsible for the delivery of a number of strategic and tactical sourcing projects across a variety of service and product categories.  
  • Assist in monitoring market trends, competitor strategies and suppliers.  
  • Participate in the delivery of sourcing projects / procurement activities 
  • Manage lower complexity procurement projects 

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience in the end to end procurement life cycle
  • Minimum 1-2 years demonstrable experience in IT procurement (hardware, software, 
    services) – experience in strategic sourcing would be ideal  
  • Have deep knowledge across a wide range of categories
  • Highly capable in analysis and interpretation of data, being able to draw succinct and 
    meaningful conclusions
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree
