Client Director (Account / Relationship Management) PE and VC Portfolio

 

You will join this growing consultancy team based out of a new London office in Clerkenwell or our Manchester office, working as part of a team. You will look after a client base, liaise with senior level business representative ranging from Investment Directors (Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capitalists (VC) to CEO/CTOs, helping to strengthen existing relationships, develop new contacts and ensuring communications are relevant and timely. You will also help develop strategy with sales activities to win new business, including account mapping, marketing campaigns and attending social networking events. You will contribute to helping their clients achieve business success with technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work on all aspects of the sales process from prospecting, proposal creation, negotiation, project management to account management
  • Assist the consultancy team in providing an excellent service to clients, in particular, helping organise and plan meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions
  • Identify new opportunities and service improvements to client product and service portfolio
  • Maintain highly organised records and processes to proactively and efficiently manage all sales and account management activities, not allowing anything to drag or slip.
  • Previous experience in a client facing role, ideally in sales or account management but would consider other avenues with a strong ‘people’ focus
  • Highly driven, self-motivated and strong perseverance.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to quickly build rapport with clients and exert influence and persuasion
  • Issue resolution
  • Commercially astute; previous exposure to private equity or corporate finance is highly desirable
  • Previous experience of Salesforce or other CRM systems is advantageous
