We are working with the procurement arm of an international bank. Their consultancy services aim to perform a comprehensive optimisation of the procurement function - they combine vast practical experience in spend management with methodologies to redesign processes and organisational structures. They are in the process of growing their team so are recruiting for someone to join them as a Strategic Sourcing Consultant.

The role

You will be:

  • Helping and advising the stakeholder on sourcing issues, create value throughout the procurement process, maximize efficiencies and improve business performance by providing sourcing solutions
  • Work in cross functional teams to develop and execute strategic sourcing projects with the best in class vendors
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the sourcing strategy generate savings and value streams (and where appropriate propose disruptive and innovative new ways of approaching the spend)

Who we’re looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience in the end to end procurement life cycle
  • Have deep knowledge across a wide range of categories
  • Have excellent stakeholder interaction skills and experience in a client facing role
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree
