Our client is a growing therapeutics firm specialising in treating Mental Health conditions using psychoactive substances. 
They are looking for a Market Access Manager to help with their global strategic growth plans. The Market Access Manager, reporting into the commercial leader, will manage strategic market access work in the US and EU and work in close collaboration with the R&D team in the design of a comprehensive evidence generation plan. The Market Access Manager will be part of an entrepreneurial team, providing strategic direction, insight, and operational expertise in market access and reimbursement, outcomes and health economics research.

Key job deliverable will include:
- Market access strategy for the US and EU
- Development and delivery of comprehensive evidence generation plan
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and manage interactions with payers, such as reimbursement authorities, as well as HTA bodies and KOLs in the US and EU
- Develop and refine the Target Product Profile / Target Value Profile
- Lead research & analysis required to inform and execute market access strategy
- Determine payer value drivers and develop a payer segmentation, understand the funding flows, formulary access pathways
- Map the willingness and ability to pay, create a compelling payer value stories,
- Perform health economic modelling, pricing, reimbursement research and create a business case for pricing decisions
- Partner with the medical team to ensure study protocols embed payer- & HTA relevant outcome, i.e., make specific recommendations on clinical trial design, label considerations, health economic and outcomes research studies (i.e. patient-reported outcomes, observational studies and economic models) to supporting market access strategies
- Development of a Global Value Dossier to inform market access negotiations
- Provide market access input into budget preparation and strategic planning
- Be involved in pricing and reimbursement negotiations, including development of local dossier preparation & submission, data collection, and other market access activities necessary to secure and maintain optimal pricing and reimbursement

- Advanced science degree with relevant Health Economic qualifications or work experience (eg., MSc in Economics, Health Economics or similar)
- Relevant experience either within a pharmaceutical company or a market access consultancy
- In-depth and current understanding of international and country payer environments (with a focus on US and EU), including reimbursement decision-making processes, pricing and contracting strategies, and HTA processes
- Experience in developing market access strategy, value dossiers, and proven delivery of successful outcomes, reimbursement and pricing strategies
- Good understanding of the pharma R&D and commercial environment
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- An entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven experience of self-motivation, accountability, integrity & teamwork
- Passion for improving and transforming mental health
