Our Client is is a global management consultancy firm specialised in ensuring the Perfect Execution of the Progression Strategy across the Client ecosystem.

The Sales Principal will be responsible for lead generation and sales conversion.  He/she will have a well-developed network of contacts who can potentially bring with him / her an excellent client portfolio.  Working in tandem with the Key Account Managers, he/she will help the business to grow its reputation and respect at C-Level, generating and growing different types of programmes in key accounts across different industries. 

He/she will be a proven professional in Operations and Supply Chain, preferably with Operational Excellence experience, at a global blue-chip organisation or global consulting firm. A high-level digital understanding will be an advantage, such as Manufacturing 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the key elements to this position are: 
 
• Be responsible for bringing on board new business
• To drive profitable sales growth through both new and existing channels 
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with FTSE 100/Fortune 500 clients and executives 
• Together with Key Account Managers, to be responsible for maintaining a strong and long-term relationship with accounts and maximising the sales opportunities within them 
• Acquire a thorough understanding of Client needs and requirements 
• Contact past clients to reinvigorate the relationship and develop new sales 
• Develop offers and proposals with other colleagues 
• Maintain and manage sales pipeline KPIs (conversion ratios) and customer database (ADB/CRM) in conjunction with our internal Business Development person
• Prepare and present regular reports and presentations of progress, measures and forecasts 
• Co-ordinate and collaborate with Group level Marketing and Key Account Management teams where necessary 
• Plan and execute UK marketing initiatives and attend networking events where relevant, liaise with Group Marketing as well as Marketing colleagues within the different industries and practices.

The ideal person would matches the following criteria:

• He/she will be of graduate calibre, a strategic thinker, and a sales professional 
• He/she will have strong leadership skills with ability to influence, challenge,motivate, and inspire 
• Ambitious, self-motivated and independent 
• Confident to present at director level/C-level 
• Flexible for frequent travel within the UK and occasional international travel
