They are looking to add forward thinking and creative supply chain consultants to their operational excellence team. This person will help to continue their work in transforming the performance of major organisations. The role will involve working within manufacturing industries, mainly Automotive; Consumer Goods; Industrial Engineering; Aerospace and Life Sciences, finding ways to improve supply chain efficiency.

Based from either London or Manchester you should expect to travel and work on client sites; you need to have the unconditional right to work across Europe. Travel constitutes a significant part of this role, around 85% of you time will be spent with clients.

Salary for this role ranges from £40,000-£65,000 dependent on experience, plus benefits and OT bonus of 25%.

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent academic background with a degree in preferably engineering / science / maths / IT or equivalent

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience of working in industry from one of the following manufacturing sectors: Automotive, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Goods, Defence and/or Pharmaceuticals

  • Experience liaising with all levels in an organisation

  • An ability to apply your leadership skills on substantial projects or change programmes involving significant performance improvement with large teams

  • An aptitude for delivering creative solutions

  • An appetite to develop new business

  • Good communication and networking capabilities

You have knowledge and can apply skills and experience across many of the following supply chain disciplines:

  • Supply chain assessment

  • Supply chain transformation

  • Supply chain process efficiency

  • Connected and digital supply chains

  • Procurement transformation

  • Inventory management

  • Sustainable supply chain

  • Operational performance review

  • Operation cost reduction

  • Operating model design

  • A range of experience across the following: new product introduction, forecast and demand management, planning, supplier relationship management, manufacturing operations, logistics and warehousing, ERP, sales and after-sales and quality management.

Furthermore, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop insights which will lead to improved business performance in these areas.
