We are currently looking for a UK Sales Principal for a global management consultancy firm specialized in Operations, Supply Chain and Operational Excellence.

The Sales Principal will be responsible for lead generation and sales conversion in the UK, he/she will have a well-developed network of contacts who can potentially bring with him / her an excellent client portfolio, working in tandem with the Key Account Managers, he/she will help the business to grow its reputation and respect at C-Level, generating and growing different types of programmes in key accounts across different industries.

He/she is a proven professional in Operations and Supply Chain, preferably with Operational Excellence experience, at a global blue-chip organisation or global consulting firm, also, a high-level digital understanding will be an advantage, such as Manufacturing 4.0 and Digital Supply Chain.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the key elements to this position are: 
 
• Be responsible for bringing on board new business  
• To drive profitable sales growth through both new and existing channels 
• Build strong, long-lasting relationships with FTSE 100/Fortune 500 clients and executives 
• Together with Key Account Managers, to be responsible for maintaining a strong and long-term relationship with accounts and maximising the sales opportunities within them 
• Acquire a thorough understanding of Client needs and requirements 
• Contact past clients to reinvigorate the relationship and develop new sales 
• Develop offers and proposals with other colleagues 
• Maintain and manage sales pipeline KPIs (conversion ratios) and customer database (ADB/CRM) in conjunction with our internal Business Development person. 
• Prepare and present regular reports and presentations of progress, measures and forecasts 
• Co-ordinate and collaborate with Group level Marketing and Key Account Management teams where necessary 
• Plan and execute UK marketing initiatives and attend networking events where relevant, liaise with Group Marketing as well as Marketing colleagues within the different industries and practices

• Collaborative by nature
• Stable career history
• Flexible for frequent travel within the UK and occasional international travel
