Our client is a well-established, profitable, London based, boutique executive search, assessment, and leadership advisory firm, focused on serving publicly quoted, privately owned and PE backed organisations in the global Industrial, Technology and Digital Transformation markets including. Alongside the core search service the company has added several complimentary C-Suite Advisory services such as Remuneration Consulting, Executive Assessment, Board Assessment, Coaching & Mentoring and Leadership Development that aim to solve Human Capital issues for clients all over the world.

Their advisory services team have been very well received by the market and are set to generate 20% of our revenues from a standing start 2 years ago. As a result of this exponential growth, they are seeking an occupational psychology focused Consultant to join our team within the Advisory/Assessment services team reporting directly to the Head of their Advisory team.

Their Advisory Services

The team have grown quickly and currently comprise a group of highly qualified external Consultants who are business psychologist consultants and facilitators who, provide services to our clients that have typically been sold by the search consultants.

Through the provision of these services, they have broadened the relationships with existing and new clients, and they now seek them out as human capital problem solvers rather than recruiters. They are able to improve client information for decision making with deeper insights, understanding how executives think, act, influence and lead.

The Role

They are seeking a commercially oriented Business Psychologist with the ambition to help grow their brand and reputation. They can offer an exciting opportunity to be central to shaping how this side of the business develops. You will work a alongside an experienced team of consultant business psychologists and search professionals who will help you to develop the skills and confidence to work increasingly independently as part of the team and directly with clients providing advisory expertise including:

•Working closely with and sponsored by Advisory leader

•Collaborating with and supporting the wider team of Search & Advisory Consultants

•At ties as part of a wider advisory team

•Covering all advisory service lines

•Specific responsibilities include:

oHelping to generate content for and assemble advisory project pitches

oManaging project administration, logistics and timelines

oAdministering Hogan psychometric testing

oInterpreting Hogan reports

oGiving feedback to clients and assessed individuals alongside colleagues

oCreating client ready reports on teams and individuals

oHelping to design and prepare for off-site events

oCo facilitating off-site events (if previous facilitation experience)

oDeveloping marketing collateral with our Marketing Manager

•Developing your internal and external business development skills over time, to help expand existing and create new client relationships

The Ideal Candidate

•BSc & MSc level occupational / business psychology, or a related discipline

•Prior experience in a professional services environment such as Human Capital Management Consulting, Executive Search or pure play Assessment Services, or a progressive HR / OD team

•High service orientation - the desire to delight clients and colleagues with outstanding contributions

•A deep interest in the commercial world and the human component of it

•A natural curiosity to understand the intricacies of business situations

•Excellent written skills

•Maturity and gravitas to operate at C-Suite level

•Strong project management skills

•Communicates well with colleagues and clients, both oral and written

•Proactive, self-starter, initiative, adaptable

•Hogan accredited or experience in using alternative pscyhometric profiling tools

•Desire to learn, develop and fulfil a leadership role in due course

•Experience of facilitating learning and or team events would be an advantage
