Job description
Our client are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Digital Transformation Managing Consultant (Practice Lead) to join their Digital Business Unit.
They are recruiting a Managing Consultant to lead Digital Transformation Consulting team working in the Digital business unit.
You will support their clients and stakeholders across the Energy, Low Carbon, Public Sector and Healthcare market sectors (as well as other B2B opportunities) to design and deliver successful digital change initiatives. As a Managing Consultant, you will work with a team of experts to identify product and service improvements, providing subject matter expertise on technical specifications and help to manage key industry stakeholders whenever modifications to those specifications are required.
This exciting opportunity is central to ensuring that they can deliver and manage the right technical solutions to clients and build on recent successes to enhance their digital transformation offering in a fast-changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead on complex digital transformation challenges from an information and technology perspective as part of a wider consulting engagement, designing and implementing solutions that can demonstrate benefits and value
- Management of project work streams, from solution design and activity planning to successful delivery
- Implement best practice and review the approach to continuous development of technology and information consulting services across the business unit offerings
- Design, position, and lead on consultancy led sales, supporting their client approach to complex digital transformation & technical design solutions
- Support project development of team members’ skills and capabilities towards their career goals
- Build relationships with stakeholders to agree the appropriate design considerations and configurations through understanding of their project/business strategies.
- Act as a functional and technical escalation point and expert across digital transformation and solution implementation projects
- Set up project best practice and common approach technical governance and programme implementation, documenting and articulating processes or business requirements to ensure that there is a common understanding
- Participate and guide a design authority, making recommendations to address risk, dependencies, issues and recommendations.
Requirements
· Proven experience of leading technology & information enabled business transformation projects is essential
· Proven experience of transformation consultancy
· TOGAF level or equivalent accreditation
· Understanding/ experience of the UK energy market, Smart and IoT, including business and data architecture/market and regulatory design processes would be beneficial.
