Job description

Led by a team of ex-Uber, Salesforce, Amazon, Facebook executives and exited founders, our client is looking for a talented Senior Marketing Manager to join them in scaling the “ChatGPT for your people.” Already deploying with some of the world’s largest blue-chip brands, they have received substantial seed funding from four venture capital funds across San Francisco, New York and London. They are backed by selected Unicorn CEO/Founders who have already scaled in a similar space with demonstrated domain specialism and sustained profitability and growth. Their mission is to give everyone a voice at work by leveraging the power of AI & video. They are seeking highly motivated missionaries who believe in democratising the workplace, the need for underrepresented voices to be heard and the potential for a more inclusive world through technology.

They enable their large corporate customers to run the equivalent of a 100,000 person focus group/survey with instant AI summarisation of the key outputs and strategic suggestions generated. Whether you’re a facilities worker or a CEO, your opinion matters - now it can also be heard at the very top, thanks to them. The company is only at the beginning of its journey. This role therefore suits someone excited by the prospect of building and scaling from the earliest stages, which means diving into diverse areas of the business and having a real impact.

Location

The team works out of dedicated offices in West London. However, they prioritise hiring the best people regardless of where they are based and are firm believers in remote work. They are therefore open to people based anywhere near a UK time zone who are comfortable with infrequent and company-expensed travel to London. Likewise, they also offer sponsorship for those who are interested in relocating to London.

The Role

  • As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be spearheading and leading the very first marketing initiatives for the company as we continue to scale into the Large Enterprise space. To date, scale has been achieved via non-traditional methods. This role involves the earliest possible stages of setting up a new company for marketing success.

  • You will assume a pivotal role, directly reporting into the CEO/Founder. This is a comprehensive remit that will involve taking ownership of strategic planning, market analysis, demand generation, sales enablement, brand management, content strategy and marketing analytics.

  • Above all, the role requires an extremely collaborative team player who can work effectively across all-functions to ensure we meet our marketing objectives efficiently in a way that benefits all parties.

  • While the Senior Marketing Manager must have experience and evidence of enabling significant growth (specifically in the Enterprise SaaS space), the successful candidate must be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty. We are Enterprise-grade but proud of our creative, collaborative and “scrappy” approach to owning, not renting, as high performing players.

  • You will assume a pivotal role in defining the journey and trajectory of the business. Their greatest strength is its relationships with their blue chip customers and partners. This role will own and define how we build and sustain a credible brand to match the extremely high standard expected by those relationships.

  • The successful candidate will be required to build a 2+ year hiring strategy for the Marketing Org and then to execute against it. Our team is global, so the successful candidate must be comfortable hiring and managing internationally.

Experience Required

  • Demonstrated success in Large Enterprise SaaS marketing

  • Experience setting up and successfully achieving targeted results across  a combination of outbound lead generation, SEO and targeted Social Media Advertising campaigns

  • Adept producer of content marketing materials - ranging from case study documentation, website messaging to animation and video content

  • Familiarity with marketing agency process and the requisite managerial experience to oversee external and internal teams

  • Appropriate managerial experience to be able to confidently build out and execute a hiring plan for future marketing hires

  • Confidence and proven ability to lead events e.g. live webinars or conference exhibitions and speaking slots

  • Familiarity with core marketing stack solutions e.g. Hubspot

  • Strong preference towards high academic achievers (they are a heavily research-led organisation with significant, advanced research and white paper activity). Demonstrated success in a research area at university or professionally and accompanying strong writing skills will be a major advantage.
