They focus on Media, Tech & Telco, Advertising and Entertainment (sport, gaming, arts). Their clients span some of the world’s biggest firms (e.g. Google, Amazon), its most adored brands (e.g. Spotify, Pinterest, Disney, HBO, the Premier League, PokerStars), and cutting edge tech brands (e.g. Freewheel, Roku, Amdocs, Acxiom).

They are experiencing very significant growth, are never short of work and have proven extremely resilient over recent challenging times.



They are looking for an experienced strategy consultant who can manage a wide range of strategy work across our media and media-tech clients and play a key role in the design and delivery of their subscription service, which provides a commentary and forecast on the UK’s broadcast and streaming media markets.

Your work will range from classic strategy (e.g. growth work, market entry) to specialist media work (e.g. sports rights valuations) and complicated research work (e.g. market sizing and forecasting, researching advertiser, customer, and partner perceptions, sentiment and requirements).

·         Projects– overseeing the delivery of exceptional work:

-       Leading the end-to-end delivery of some of our most challenging projects

-       Leading the design of complex analytical frameworks and financial models, and analysis of data, to provide insight into client challenges, markets, customers and competitors

-       Conducting large-scale research and interview programmes,

-       Designing and delivering client briefings, reports, workshops and presentations

-       Ensuring clear story-telling and commercially aware / strategic recommendations

·         Managing delivery of the subscription service

-       Managing the biannual market forecasting and commentary

-       Presenting findings to the Executive teams at their clients

·         Making a significant contribution to new business / sales:

-       Building strong client relationships

-       Overseeing and informing the design of big / challenging proposals

-       Leading on one of their key accounts

-       Helping to further grow their profile

·         Shaping the growth and development of the Strategy team:

-       Line managing and mentoring members of the team

-       Identifying new areas of opportunity

-       Introducing new tools and techniques, packaging different approaches / specialisms (e.g. frameworks, models).

All projects are designed bespoke to the needs of their client’s brief, following consultation with them about their needs. They use a range of traditional and cutting edge methods – whatever is best suited to the job.

·         Forecasting growth in the SVOD markets over the next ten years, for one of the world’s largest SVOD players

·         A global rights strategy for one of the world’s top sports leagues

·         Examining opportunities in new markets

·         A market entry strategy for one of the world’s largest public cloud platforms

·         A customer journey study for the world’s largest marketing data and data solutions provider, to help them understand how to structure their sales and marketing

·         Thought leadership studies

What else is a consideration for this role?
